Zines, illustration and printed things,
made slowly between Switzerland and Italy.
Welcome to my little universe
Byron the Bee is where my creativity collides: drawing, photographs, words and found things, folded together into zines, illustrations and printed objects. Everything starts with something small from everyday life that I can't stop looking at.
Who's behind Byron
I'm Micol. I draw, write, collect and make things.
I come from psychology, epidemiology, translation and graphic design, and I've never been good at keeping things in separate boxes. Byron is where I let them meet. Here I turn ideas and found things into zines, illustrations and printed objects
Things I find along the way
Some things start with an idea. Others begin with something I find: a photograph, an old object, a scrap of paper, a strange little thing that catches my eye. They don't have to belong to the same category. They belong to the same life.
Things I've been making
Zines, photographs, illustrations, maps, experiments and other things I've been making.

Slow thoughts about zines, paper and making things.
Thoughts, stories, observations and little things I've been thinking about.
